Welcome to MyLittleBigBook!
This website has been designed in order to create a diverse and sizeable collection of children’s books, which are free, accessible, and easily read online. We aim to do this by connecting the authors of children’s books with an audience of children and parents.
The purpose is to benefit authors and readers alike.
My Little Big Book provides authors with an avenue for distributing their work to the public. It means that anyone, whether they are a new writer, or already published, has the opportunity to have their books seen and heard by little readers.
Authors are able to monetise their work through in-site advertising and, in the future, selling hard copies of their work.
For readers, this means that there is somewhere they can turn to for a varied collection of children’s books, written by authors of all types of backgrounds and experience. All of the books are available in their own home, at the click of a button.
Some of the fun features we have provided within My Little Big Book include:

- Browse books by category
- Read books in full screen mode
- Save favourite stories to My Bookshelf
- Input information about my children and generate a list of most suitable books
- Read and write reviews of books
- A community for discussing books and writing tips
However, as we work to improve and expand the website, you can expect to see the following features being added:
- Personalise books to suit your children
- iPhone application to allow reader to view books on their iPhone
- Authoring tool to allow authors to create books directly on mylittlebigbook.com, including a database of illustrations to use in your books.
- An option to publish your favourite books in hard copy
